On top of the BeoSound 8 Bang & Olufsen has also unveiled a Bang & Olufsen app, in case the standard Apple clock just wasn’t Bang & Olufsen enough for you. The app isn’t just a clock though, it’s also an internet radio.

There’s a free and paid version of the Bang & Olufsen BeoPlayer app. The free version gives access to 20 internet radio stations, while the paid version has access to “all internet radio”, which equals around 14,000 stations at your fingertips. Before Christmas the Bang & Olufsen BeoPlayer app will also be expanded with “music browsing features” added.

Steve Devonshire from Bang & Olufsen UK is expecting the app to be out in the next seven days, and he says Bang & Olufsen are just waiting on the final word from Apple. The paid version, while it hasn’t got an exact price, will be sitting at just under the £10 mark. £10 for an internet radio app? Vent your opinions in the comments section below.
