Last month, we offered you the chance to win a Livescribe Echo smartpen by scribbling us a love letter. The deadline is past, the jury has been browsing all the excellent prose flung our way, and now we have a winner: Elizabeth Blaney, come on down!
There were plenty of touching letters and beautiful ballads written in honour of Electricpig for the competition, but in the end, Elizabeth’s entry won us over with its combination of flattery and frank confession of what the Livescribe pen would be used for.

You told me about the PS3 to use for Grand TurismoAnd now you’re giving stuff away, you’ve pleased me even more
So now I’m trying to think of words to get your highest scoreThe lovely Livescribe Echo pen – it really seems to glisten
I’d use it in those boring meetings and wouldn’t have to listen!So please pick me. dear Electricpig, as I’m your biggest fan
And give me the pen, that whizzy pen – Go on, you know you can!
