The launch video from upcoming EA Play game, Create, popped into our inbox this afternoon, and we think it looks so fiendishly fun we just had to share it. Create is a bit like Scribblenauts for grown-ups – you get a bunch of objects (pre-existing rather than ones you draw) and have to solve a puzzle, doing it in the most creative way possible, with extra points for ingenious or ridiculous solutions.

This new trailer for Create shows one part of the Challenge mode, Scoretacular, where the aim is to use as many objects as possible. The wackier the solution the better. The Challenge opportunities are “virtually limitless” according to EA Play, and the only constraint is your imagination.

Interesting-looking, but the physics is all off… I hate games that give that “slow-mo” effect to movement, especially when it seems to take ages to build up intertia, and then go reallyreallyreallyfast for no apparent reason.

Create looks like Little Big Planet crossed with Mousetrap! I agree with James about the slo-mo stuff, it can be really quite offputting.
