UPDATE: Vodafone‘s website appears to have a holding page for the BlackBerry Bold 9780 too. Looks like a launch is imminent!

UPDATE 2: We’ve just tried to find out more, but a RIM spokesperson has declined to comment.

The iPad 2, if rumours are to be believed, is just around the corner and with Apple’s tablet lagging behind the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Tab and BlackBerry PlayBook in the spec stakes, we’re expecting big things. That’s why this iPad 2 concept from designers Joy Studios fills us with hope.

Aside from the iPhone 4 style design, with a glass and aluminium exterior, there’s removable storage, a FaceTime camera, and a pumped up resolution to boot.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I Review

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, or Sonic 4 to more impatient fans of the spiky blue bolt, is Sega’s bold attempt to restore some of its beleaguered mascot’s pride after close to two decades of underachievement and disappointment. Is this download-only platformer a fitting tribute to the classic Sonics of yesteryear, or is it a waste of cash, like so many of the blue hedgehog’s recent excursions? We’ve just had word that the customised Android Froyo update for HTC Desire on Three is rolling out we speak. The Froyo update started rolling out at 9am this morning, so plug in and update, and drop us a line to tell us what you find! The update was announced back at the beginning of August, and like all HTC Desire Froyo updates, seems to come later than planned. Stay tuned for more information!
