Xbox 360

Fable 3 review

Look, just buy this game. Peter Molyneux’s development studio is always good for a laugh, and this action RPG throws some great twists in, and slaps all your decision making with shades of grey.

Wii

Wii Party review

We’re not usually fans of mini-game collection titles on the Wii – they’re about as common as an X-Factor reject with a sob story and wearing tracksuit bottoms with the words “Juicy” written on the back of them – but Nintendo’s latest manages to stand out from the crowd.

Cross platform

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare review (Xbox 360, PS3)

Rockstar’s swan song DLC for its epic Western adventure is a shining example of how extra downloadable content should be done. Hours of great gameplay, and zombies, mean there’s something for everyone.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 review (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, iPhone)

Sonic is back after a decade and a half, if like us you’ve chosen not to acknowledge Sega’s 3D output in the time since. Sonic 4 is fast, fun, and best of all, on every console.

Medal of Honor review (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)

The one with the Taliban in you might have seen somebody making a hoohah over in the paper. Hit the pic and find out if it’s Talibobbins or not in our review.

Fallout: New Vegas review (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)

Fallout: New Vegas isn’t game of the year, but that’s only because the year hasn’t finished yet. A vast, hilarious trawl across post-apocalyptic Nevada, with all the best bit of Fallout 3 – though some of the bugginess as well.

The Sims 3 for console review (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii)

It’s odd to think that such a popular gaming franchise has never been available on consoles before, but EA smelled some green and here we are. Is is better than the PC version? How many polygons are required before virtual women in bikinis become arousing? Some of those questions are answered in our review, so just give the pic a click to see.

PC

Minecraft review

Oh you have free time? Sucks to be you then, because this will get rid of it for you. Ignore the graphics that make Wolfenstein 3D look good: this is the most absorbing sandbox game you could imagine. In fact, your only restriction is said imagination. And $20.
