First up, on the tablet front, we stacked the Samsung Galaxy Tab up against the BlackBerry PlayBook in a stat clash, but tastier news was to come, with ViewSonic revealing an intriguing way to get money off its own ViewPad: by trading in any old laptop.
On the mobile front meanwhile, we looked at a corker of a budget Android phone in our Orange San Francisco review, while Apple is rumoured to be holding a secret iOS event soon in the run up to the important 4.2 update that will bring multitasking to the iPad.
