Twitter clients are ten a penny on the iPhone, but Super Twario is a great new take on the idea. This is social networking as a platform game.
Twitter can be pretty addictive, but at least its not as addictive as an old-school platform game, eh readers? If it was we would probably never be off the thing!

Super Twario takes your twitter feed and munges it into a series of platforms for your cartoon rabbit avatar to negotiate. By jumping on a Tweet you can read and reply to it. Hitting the avatars of your Twitter friends as if they were powerups activates other functions such as ReTweets.
It is a kind of genius, although we can’t help wishing it was smart enough to generate enemies from puns, or turn hashtag games into boss battles. Perhaps in version 2.0.
Super Twario is – brilliantly – fully Game Center compatible and you can score points by doing Twittery things like sending tweets, attracting followers, Follow Friday mentions (it’s a Twitter thing, don’t worry about it) and being ReTweeted.
