We broke the news last week that the unannounced BlackBerry Bold 9780 was coming to T-Mobile in the UK, but if you need any more proof, here it is: marketing material straight from the network, with the first official shot of the portrait QWERTY BlackBerry 6 smartphone.
This leaflet sent from T-Mobile to the press showing what phones it’ll be stocking for the December giftfest – AKA Christmas – clearly shows the BlackBerry Bold 9780, even though RIM has yet to confirm the existence of the phone. As we told you before, it’ll be available from £30 per month, and comes with a five megapixel camera and BlackBerry 6 preinstalled.

In truth, part of us is a little bit disappointed that the BlackBerry Bold 9780 looks so similar to the existing Bold 9700, but as we said in our BlackBerry Torch review, we’d take that form factor with BlackBerry 6 instead of RIM’s chubbily slider anyday. We’d expect RIM to make the BlackBerry Bold 9780 official very soon, so stay tuned.
