The Advent Vega Android tablet is turning out to be the surprise success story of the incoming wave of budget Google slates. It runs Android 2.2 Froyo, packs in Wi-Fi and just about manages to squeeze out HD video playback, with a good battery life and capacitive touchscreen too. We were surprised to find so few corners cut when we got our hands on the £250 Vega, and are waiting with baited breath to put one through our full reviews testing, just as soon as a finished device is available… Continuously updated.
