Donkey Kong Country Returns, the Wii 2D comeback for Nintendo’s great big gorilla gaming icon, has been given a UK release date. You’ll be able to pick up the game, first unveiled at E3 in June, here on 3 December, a fortnight after Americans get it on 21 November.

The Mini Scooter E concept might not be real just yet, but we’re hoping BMW’s boffins bring it to light sooner rather than later. This electric two-wheeler plugs into the mains to recharge, and uses a smartphone as its ignition key, satnav and even recognises other Mini Scooter E bikes on the road.
