iPhone 5: what do you want?

Categories: Mobile Phones News   Tags: , , ,

Earlier this month iPhone 5 concepts sprang up, taking some wild guesses about what the iPhone 5 might look like. Handyflash mocked up its version of the iPhone 5, which has touch-sensitive surfaces in the place of physical buttons, and looks like an even sleeker slimmed down version of the iPod Touch. The mock up is a shot in the dark, but it got us thinking about what we want from the iPhone 5.

There’s some safe-ish guesses to be made about what an iPhone 5 might have, one of them (hopefully) being a better antenna design, that means users don’t drop calls.

Should we also be looking forward to a 4G device, or is it too early to speculate? A 4G network in the UK, although it’s being talked about, has still got a long way to go before it’s rolled out, and it’s highly likely that the iPhone 5 will arrive before a 4G network does.

So what do you want, or have recent (and not so recent) events put you off buying an iPhone? Are you thinking about switching to Android?

Not the most inspiring ideas! Slimmer but with a better aerial?

Apple have done a lot with the iPhone but the shape hasn't really changed in 4 generations, it's always been flat and slim with a big screen. I think it's time the iPhone takes on a new form, Apple have been experimenting with the shape of iPod's and the way we use them; it's time the iPhone got the same treatment!
