The PlayStation Move has been on sale in the UK for a whole week now, so if you’re a day or week one buyer, you’ve had the chance to give it a spin and try out the PS3 Move games available at launch. You’ve read our review already, but what do you think? Now you’ve had a chance to play it too, vote in our poll and have your say!

As we said in our full PlayStation Move review at the start of the month, we’re still spellbound by the technology inside the PS3 Move controllers, and the potential it has for future titles. It’s really easy to set up, and compared to Kinect for Xbox 360, potentially cheaper too.

But, and it’s a big but, we’ve lost interest in a fair few of the launch games. Sports Champions is a good laugh with friends round, and Flight Control HD is a great example of casual gaming with PlayStation Move. If you’ve not played Heavy Rain before, you’re in for a treat, but if you’ve already played it through to a few endings, PS3 Move gestures might not be enough to capture your attention once more.

So, you tell us. Are you still playing PS3 Move games with your PlayStation Move controller? Or have you put it down and gone back to Modern Warfare 2 with a DualShock? Vote in our poll, and in the meantime, check out all our PlayStation Move coverage below.

Been playing for a couple afternoons so far and the Sports Champions game has really good tracking control and gameplay. The ping pong is great. I can do all the tricks I usually use with almost zero learning curve – very responsive. Archery is fun, frisbee is better than I thought and volleyball is very cool with all of the possible moves and instant play capability. I probably won't play Bocce Ball and haven't tried the jousting yet. I did first go through all the gameplay tutorials of the ones I liked.

Do not purchase the “racquet sports” title! They use only the most basic calibration and all play seems to be on where you point your controller. Not intuitive movement at all. I found the learning curve too much and boring because it is not natural, not near the Sports Champions gameplay. And do not purchase any game that says “move compatible”, you will be disappointed. These games only have some code to allow the new controller to be used for the game instead of the standard ps3 controller. For my money I will only purchase the Move games that state, “move controller required”…this means it has been designed for the Move and not adapted. I also purchased an “energizer” dual charging station for $20. This can handle either move controllers or navigators. I also discovered that you need to use the usb cable to syn a new/second controller for the first time.

    Cheers,

Well said – I couldn't agree more. I played Racquet Sports at a preview event a few months ago and it really left me coming away disappointed with Move, only to discover later just how close to 1:1 it actually is. And ping pong on sports champions is awesome – but is it enough to wean people off Modern Warfare, Uncharted and the like?
