You’ve seen our list of the best PS3 Move games you can buy already, but as we said in our original PlayStation Move review, they’re not quite on a par with the PS3 classics you need a DualShock for. But there’s no denying the technology is there, so all we need is some smarter games than Start The Party! to pull in the punters. Here’s our wishlist of what could be the best PS3 Move games: all we need are some updates.
You can see our best PS3 Move games Top 5 over to the right, but below are the titles we wish would get the motion control treatment.
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood
Based on our hands on time with the single and multiplayer modes, Ubisoft’s second outing for Ezio is shaping up to be a phenomenal game, there’s no doubt. But we reckon there’s scope to turn it into one of the best PS3 Move games out there too: imagine being able to slit throats and stab your targets with the PlayStation Move controller, or point your comrades to lofty vantage points. Make it happen, folks.
PlayStation Move: Everything you need to know
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
An oldie but a goodie. We’d say Bethesda’s follow up, Fallout 3, is a bit too run and gun to work with PlayStation Move, but this swords and sorcery RPG is crying out for it. This 2006 game of the year could get a new lease of life with 1:1 motion for sword fighting, and the PlayStation Move navigation controller for moving through the beautiful countryside of Cyrodiil.

Dead Space 2
The sequel to the cack-yourself space station shooter is technically getting some PS3 Move “content”: a bundled in port of Wii railshooter Dead Space Extraction, that works with the PlayStation Move controller. But, never mind that, we want the full Dead Space 2 game to work with it – the emphasis on precision shooting when it comes to severing aliens’ limbs could lend it self well to the precise actions of Move. EA, do this, and you’ll have the most frightening PS3 Move game on the market by a long stretch.

Metal Gear Solid Rising
If you’ve played a Metal Gear game before, you know how bad ass Raiden is with swords, whether they’re attached to his hands, his feet or his teeth, and he’s the star of the show for the next outing in the saga. So, how about being able to move those swords with your PlayStation Move controller? Kojima Productions has hinted that it’s been experimenting with support for Metal Gear Solid Rising, but we’d love some official confirmation. This could be one of the best PS3 games of next year full stop: Kojima, make it one of the best PS3 Move games too.

Lego Universe
The upcoming Lego Universe MMO game for the PC could make the perfect port to PS3 Move controls: assemble all your minifigs, buildings and vehicles with a wave of the PlayStation Move wand. We can only dream for now, alas.
