We’ve seen brief leaks of the BlackBerry Bold 9780 before, but none like this from Mai Nguyen. The first traditional QWERTY BlackBerry to run the new BlackBerry 6 OS out of the box, the BlackBerry Bold 9780 does indeed look remarkably like last year’s Bold 9700. But as the site confirms, you’re looking at a spec boost inside, with 512MB of RAM and a five megapixel camera.

How a BlackBerry Bold 9780 comes to be residing in what appears to be a Vietnamese phone shop before launch, we don’t know, but as you can see from the run through of BlackBerry 6, it’s most definitely the real deal. Tuck into the video and enjoy – if you’ve got your eyes on the Torch, we reckon this one might be worth holding out for, touchscreen be damned.
