I know the screen resolution and some other things change when the N8 is plugged it into a t.v. but I'm not aware of the details; so, would you be kind enough to go over this information? Also, if I was playing and HD movie through the device onto this television would it be displayed in 720p or 1080p. If I decided to watch an HD movie on the N8 device itself would the video quality be in HD 720p or just DVD quality; then, if this movie had full surround sound and I had DD 7.1 surround sound headphones plugged into the 3.5mm jack on the N8 would I be watching a video with DD 5.1 surround sound? Does it play back in full surround sound, virtual surround sound, or just stereo through the 3.5mm jack? Does the 5.1 DD surround sound only playback through the HDMI port? I don't believe I'm the only one who wants to know this information so please cover it. Thanks :D

I have a Desire since April and got a Galaxy S for my wife about a month back. I am an avid Android watcher, user though not a geek ! My vote is certainly for Galaxy. Once they fix the notorious Lag issue, nothing comes anywhere close to it. May be Desire HD but even that has low end battery, for whatever reason. How many can honestly tell here that they could not use all of Desire's 7 home screen pages with 7 x 16 apps ? Even wuith Froyo, internal memory being so piddly in Desire and its nearly “Invisible in sunlight” screen are reason enough to Guo to Galaxy. The latter also punches in fantastic Media experience.
