Nokia-C7-Nokia-World-1a

Nokia C7 was just unveiled at the Nokia World 2010 conference in London. It’s running Symbian 3, shoots HD video, and packs in tons of storage (up to 40GB) but unlike the Nokia N8 this is a slim Symbian 3 smartphone. It’s slim, and also packed with social features.

The Nokia C7 has a 3.5-inch AMOLED display up front, and is a waif-like 10.5mm thick. There’s an 8 megapixel camera around the back and it’ll shoot HD video in 720p, just like the Nokia N8.

Inside there’s 8GB of built-in storage, which can be boosted to 40GB with a microSD card. There’s active noise cancellation for clearer phone calls too, and the battery is a brute: The Nokia C7 will last 27 days in standby.

Nokia’s including new social networking tools too, and reckons the C7 will support more social networks than any other phone, including local favourites, such as Renren in china or Orkut in Brazil. It’s clear the Nokia C7 is going global.

It’ll be out in the UK later this year, for €335. That’s £280 in proper money.
