If you’re packing a copy of Heavy Rain and planning on picking up the PlayStation Move, we’ve got good news! Heavy Rain PlayStation Move support is coming next week. It promises to make the interactive drama extra-immersive and just that little bit more creepy. Read on for details on the free Heavy Rain PlayStation Move update…
The Heavy Rain Playstation Move patch will be released next Wednesday (22 September) allowing you to control the game by gesturing with the new controller rather than having to make irritatingly accurate moves with joypad.
Sony announced the new Heavy Rain PlayStation Move support on the official PlayStation Blog: “For those of you who already have a copy of Heavy Rain, we will be releasing the Heavy Rain Move patch on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Just boot up Heavy Rain (assuming you have an internet connection) and it will automatically download to your PS3.”
If you didn’t grab Heavy Rain when it was first launched, a new PlayStation Move-powered demo will hit the PlayStation Store at the same time as the update. It’ll feature two playable areas – the self-explanatory Sleazy Place and Crime Scene – and give you a flavour of what flailing around with Move will be like.
