We’re rapidly closing in on the end of the week, but there’s still plenty of juicy gadget news to be had. Tuck in to it all right here in your techie breakie!

First up, we’ve got plenty for fans of the iPhone and Apple’s iOS gizmos. We looked at Apple’s surprise climbdown on app development and approval, and set loose our full new iPod touch review to boot too: trust us when we say it’s a winner.

Elsewhere, Google’s been busy too, serving up walking turn by turn navigation for Android, and hinting that Gingerbread, the next version of Android, will be bound for tablets in a big way.

Finally, we got up close and personal with Sony’s new Reader models, the Pocket and the Touch, and put them head to head with the new Kindle. Fight!

About the price: I found it for 223$ (bit.ly/bhGETG) will it go lower sometime in the near future ? 223$ is still a bit high, should I buy the 3g for just 176$ ? there is no much difference anyway between the two iPods.
