The Windows Phone 7 launch date has broken cover. 11 October is the date we can expect to see the launch of the Windows Phone 7 OS, according to “senior figures in the industry”.
Microsoft would not comment on rumour or speculation about the Windows Phone 7 launch date, which will be followed by the launch of a number of Windows Phone 7 handsets later in the month.
The much hyped Windows Phone 7 OS has already beaten the Blackberry Torch in a browser showdown, and details of incoming Windows Phone 7 handsets have leaked left right, and centre. So far we’ve heard talk of multiple Windows Phone 7 HTC devices, and most recently, the LG E9000 Windows Phone 7 device, which packs a speedy Snapdragon processor and 3D capabilities.
