The iPhone 4 has barely made itself at home in our pockets, and already the first iPhone 5 concepts are online. Take a look at this beauty, and ask yourself: how soon is too soon for speculation on next-gen gadgets?
For our part, we love this mock-up by HandyFlash. It’s thin, with a metal spine (not unlike the first generation iPod nano), and seems to have ditched the external antenna that caused Apple so much trouble earlier this year.
The rest of the fictional iPhone 5 is pure imagination. HandyFlash reckon the entire left side will be a touch-sensitive surface, with owners sliding a finger up and down its edge to change volumes, since there’s no space for physical buttons.
HandyFlash also imagine that the iPhone 5 will house 4G technology for 100Mbit connections, “new retinal Plus [sic] displays” for even better visuals, and a 10.2 megapixel camera. The storage inside the iPhone 5 will be 32GB or 64GB, they reckon.
What do you think? Pie in the sky? Too early to guess? Or have HandyFlash got it spot on with their slinky concept iPhone 5?
