Virgin Media is now offering the BlackBerry Curve 8520 on a contract of just £12 a month – or a piffling £10 a month if you’re a Virgin Media home entertainment customer. Over 24 months, that works out the same (or less) as buying the BlackBerry Curve SIM-free. In other words, it’s a pretty astonishing deal.
Things get even cheaper if you’re a student, as possession of a valid NUS Extra card gets you an extra 15 percent off your monthly payment.
The Virgin Media BlackBerry Curve 8520 deal offers 50 inclusive minutes and 250 texts per month. While that’s not a huge amount, especially on the minutes front, you do get unlimited web and email, plus unlimited BlackBerry Messenger use. Virgin Media customers with home entertainment services (in addition to paying just £10 per month) also get unlimited calls to other Virgin mobile phones.
The BlackBerry Curve 8520 offers the standard BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard alongside Wi-Fi, a 2MP camera and up to 32GB of expandable memory. Want to know more? Check out our full BlackBerry Curve 8520 review.
