Right on cue, the 7-inch tablet’s been outed, and just as we expected, it’s running Android 2.2 Froyo, and comes packed with plenty of other goodies the iPad can only dream of. The Samsung Galaxy Tab comes with 16 or 32GB of internal storage, but the big news are the 3MP rear camera and front facing VGA sensor for video chatting, and Google apps support. Most Android tablets lack Google’s essential apps like Google Maps and the Android Market, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab has them baked in.
