The PS3 ‘jailbreak’ device that will allow playing of pirated PS3 ROMs has itself been pirated and the creators of the original have been given a taste of what it must be like for games companies when their intellectual property is ripped off.
Facebook Places isn’t currently available in the UK, officially. However, it’s perfectly possible to start testing out the service now on a desktop computer, simply by installing the free Hotspot Shield, firing it up and navigating to touch.facebook.com – it’s meant for touchscreen phones but runs on any browser just fine. We’ve already created a Facebook Places location in London without a hitch on Firefox 4, though Safari on Mac isn’t playing ball.
