In the wake of the moral kerfuffle caused by Medal of Honor, one Modern Warfare 2 gamer has set himself what seems like the ultimate challenge and adds an interesting new dimension to the debate about violence in FPS games. Glen McCracken is trying to get to level 70 with no kills.
McCracken is currently on level 11 of Modern Warfare 2, and has clocked up 272 deaths and no kills. He’s done this mostly by using riot shields or flash grenades, but had to give them up after he found they were too risky and could kill people by accident.
Glen said: “I’ve already hit Prestige five times. I thought it would be something interesting to do. It definitely gives you a different perspective on the Modern Warfare 2…things have picked up a bit since I can get challenge points. In an average Demolition game I get about 1,000 XP and 15 deaths.”
