In 2D, the Sony Bravia NX713 and Sony Bravia NX813 should offer pretty impressive picture quality. Both come packing dynamic LED backlighting with the Motionflow. The NX713 gives you a frame rate of 100Hz while the NX813 bumps it up to 200Hz.
The Bravia Internet Video skills of the Sony Bravia NX713 and Sony Bravia NX813 means you can tap into on-demand services like iPlayer and 4OD as well as feasting on Lovefilm streaming. There’s also the usual widgets for sites like Twitter, Facebook and Flickr if you can bear to be disconnected for a moment.
To tap into the 3D skills of the Sony Bravia NX713 and Sony Bravia NX813, you’ll need to pick up a 3D Sync Transmitter and 3D glasses. 3D broadcasts on Sky+ HD kick off in earnest in October and there’s also PS3 3D gaming to try.
Compared to the Sony Bravia HX803, Sony’s previous 3D TV, the Bravia NX713 and NX813 look a lot sleeker, shrinking the bezel and rocking concealed touch-sensitive controls.
Sony hasn’t announced pricing or availability for the Sony Bravia NX713 or Sony Bravia NX813 yet. We’ll be hassling them but with IFA just around the corner we’d expect to see plenty more details on the tasty new 3D TVs then.
