Assassins Creed Brotherhood got us alll excited when we tried out its new multiplayer modes. If you want to have a crack at multiplayer stealth ‘n’ stabbing in Renaissance Europe, and you own a PS3, you may soon have your chance.
Enzio from Assassins Creed II is getting another outing in the upcoming Assassins Creed Brotherhood, but while we would quite like to see the next chapter in his story the real draw of the new game for many players will be the new multiplayer modes.
We played through a demo of Assassins Creed Brotherhood‘s multiplayer last month and were surprised at how well it worked. The Wanted mode set us against seven other kllers in crowded streets and the stealth elements from the single player game work well in what is essentially capture the flag, but with one of your friends’ lives as the flag.
There are still a few rough edges, which is why Ubisoft is opening up a beta version of the game and is seeking dedicated playtesters to test it to destruction. PS3 owners will be able to join in the fun from October the 4th. Sign up at the official site to find out more.
