We’ve seen the BlackBerry 9670 Clamshell pop up in the odd tragically ugly spyshot before, but if you needed any more convincing that RIM is actually planning to unleash this one out of the attic and onto the unwitting public, there’s this: developer software for the phone has now leaked out online.
Between the BlackBerry Torch and a BlackBerry 6 update for the Bold 9700, we really can’t say we’re that excited about the prospect of the BlackBerry 9670 Clamshell, but if you prefer that flipping action, things just got a lot more legitimate: BBleaks has posted developer software for the device.

The software for the BlackBerry 9670 Clamshell now appears to have been removed from all the sites offering it, suggesting RIM has already snatched them offline – in which case, you can bet that this thing is very much happening.
