If the invite we’ve just received is anything to go by, then it looks like the UK will be getting its HTC Desire HD launch on the 15 September.
The invite says “come and see what HTC have dreamt up” and says that more details will follow. Sound like the HTC Desire HD to you? It does to us.
After some blurry photos, a nicely made video confirmed the existience of the HTC Desire HD earlier in the week. The HTC Desire runs on Android 2.2 Froyo, according to the video makers, and is codenamed the HTC Ace – which aligns with previous reports of an upcoming Android smartphone from the company.

The video showed the HTC Desire HD with HTC Evo 4G-esque front face to the speaker grille on the top, the HTC HD2 style back panel and 3.5mm audio port placed on the bottom.
