Electricpig digital music poll: what do you use?

August 5th, 2010

Last month we broke the news that Pure would be launching its own cloud based music download service. Then just a week or so ago, HMV launched a download site, HMV digital, powered by 7digital. With a cross section of new and established services knocking around, we thought it was about time we put it to you.

In the midst of all these new options, we find ourselves asking whether there’s actually any space for a new service, and wondered how much iTunes had managed to carve out a market monopoly for its convenience and penetration.

This poll will be the first in a short series of three, to gauge what you’re using and what you think is missing. Firstly, we want to know the answer to the questions that brought all this about: is there room for another service? Click and tell…

I use iTunes, however having an android phone some DRM protected files won't play on the device. the only other company who could achieve in creating a good music download store would be Google, and if they were smart enough they would create a program like iTunes for all the Android phones out there!
