Morning all, there’s another week ahead of us that’s sure to be jam packed with news. How can you possibly keep up? Well, you could start with our run-down of the best stories that you missed on Friday and over the weekend. It’s time for your Techie Breakie.
We got wind of an iPhone 4 jailbreaking tool with the unlikely – not to mention unpleasant – name of shitra1n. What we haven’t been able to determine is if it is real or just someone’s rather rubbish idea of a hoax. Answers in the comments, please.
Starcraft II blew gamers minds this week.. shortly before blowing their graphics cards. A bug in (of all places) a menu screen could cause certain GFX processors to go berserk and overheat, resulting in ACTUAL FIRE. We await the inevitable ‘hottest new game’ box quote.
We got to have a play around with another sci-fi game sequel – Halo: Reach. We are happy to report that nothing caught fire, but it did look flippin’ great.
We also took a look at how to use a BlackBerry Pearl 3G to share our music festival photos and how to use the Pearl as a power-user’s Twitter phone to keep our followers up to date.
