The iPhone 4 jailbreak is here! Unlike previous iPhone jailbreak solutions, the iPhone 4 jailbreak doesn’t involve hooking your iPhone 4 up to your Mac or PC. You just need to point Safari at www.jailbreakme.com and follow the instructions there.
While we’re trumpeting the iPhone 4 jailbreak, jailbreakme will also work for anyone with any iPhone or iPod Touch running iOS 3.1.2, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.0.1 and iPads running 3.2.1. Be warned though, it can’t crack the iOS 4.1 Beta yet.
Some early users of the iPhone 4 jailbreak found that MMS and FaceTime on their phones was broken but those issues have apparently been ironed out now.
Before you make the leap and go for the iPhone 4 jailbreak make sure you backup your iPhone first. Also remember that using the iPhone 4 jailbreak will invalidate your warranty.
