The Nintendo 3DS design is locked down, according Nintendo’s Hideki Konno. Previously, images of the Nintendo 3DS had come with warnings that its looks could still be subject to change. At Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference keynote yesterday, Steve Ballmer said Microsoft was “hardcore” about slates, and promised we’d be seeing multiple Windows 7 slates in the coming months. However, the HP slate that featured as the centrepiece of his January keynote, and which TechCrunch editor Michael Arrington reported as being scrapped at the end of April, although not present in the speech, was still in the line up of companies on the slideshow.
