Rumour has it that Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo is on his way out, and Nokia are scouting around for a new CEO. Reasons given in the WSJ are that Nokia has “struggled to find traction for the company in the market for high-end smartphones”

nokia c6Nokia’s C6, a Symbian powered, touch and slide, 3.2 inch screen budget smartphone went on sale in the UK today, and Vodafone looks to be the first carrier offering the Nokia C6 on PAYG. It’s a bit of a surprise, given that release dates were slated for the end of July, but Nokia appear to be able to ship from today.
