Microsoft today announced that it has formed a ‘Super Squad’ of celebrity Halo: Reach players including Man Utd’s Rio Ferdinand and The Gadget Show’s Jason Bradbury to take on the very best Halo: Reach players the UK has to offer. And you know what? You can be part of that team. We were there for the announcement. Read on to peep the photos and discover how to be part of it.
Roped in to make the announcement was The Gadget Show’s Jason Bradbury who told us that Halo: Reach matches as part of a competition will be played throughout August in order to find the best Halo: Reach multiplayers in Britain.
The best will get what Jason called a “unique” prize – the chance to become a teamleader of an Elite Spartan Squad comprising of Bradbury himself, Manchester United defender and England captain Rio Ferdinand, Rugby player Ben Cohen, T4 host Jameela Jamil and more as of yet unnamed celebs to take on the best Reach players when the game launches on September 14th. Replace take on with battered silly and you get the idea.
With just one player to come into the squad at any one time competition will be intense, if the prize sounds like your sort of thing. So now you know what Rio’s been doing during his time off from watching England fail miserably in the World Cup. Any guesses who the next celebrities will be?
Out 14th September | £TBC | Microsoft
