PES 2011 is Konami’s big bet to reclaim the crown of best football sim from FIFA once more, and while it’s not out until later this year, a brand new trailer just hit, just now. Read on to see it!
The FIFA series’ massive advancements over the past few years compared to Pro Evolution Soccer has forced Konami to up its game for PES 2011, and as this epic six minute new trailer shows, it looks like it has.
As well as impressive new graphics and lifelike renditions of stars like Messi and Drogba, the new PES 2011 trailer shows off some of the new features, like 360 movement and passing (As opposed to 8 direction, a change made in FIFA 10 last year), and the ability to map different skills to the right thumbstick, activated by holding down the left trigger, giving you much more choice when it comes to dummying defenders.
PES 2011 also boasts a new power gauge, but that’s quite enough chit chat from us: check out the goods in the video below and expect PES 2011 out later this year.
