The Facebook iPhone app got a quiet refresh last night, adding bug fixes, international language support and all the high-resolution graphics and fast app-switching required for a smooth iOS 4 experience, whether you’re rocking an iPhone 4, upgraded 3GS or clapped out iPhone 3G.

It’s the second Facebook iPhone app update in as many weeks. Last Monday Mark Zuckerberg’s social network allowed iPhone owners to start viewing videos posted by their friends, as well as upload higher resolution photos and write on event walls.

This time, there’s multi-tasking in store, as any iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 using iOS 4 will now remember where you were in the Facebook app before dashing out to do something else. iPhone 2G and 3G owners probably won’t notice the difference, since multi-tasking isn’t supported on the two oldest iPhones.
