The flood of iPhone 4 pre-orders has taken the Apple Store out of action temporarily. When we reported that iPhone 4 UK pre-orders had opened earlier we noted that there were a few problems with the site but the sheer load of traffic seems to have given Apple serious trouble. Currently the perky yellow “We’ll Be Back Soon” note has taken the place of the virtual shelves freshly stocked today with the new Mac Mini and iPhone 4.
