We’re getting reports of queues all over Britain, not just at Apple’s flagship stores. With just five minutes until the doors are flung open, here’s a snap from reader Paul Cutler showing the iPhone 4 faithful lining up outside an O2 store in Brentford Brentwood. We hear most of London’s shoping centres have lines of eager buyers too, from Bluewater to Oxford Street and beyond. But where are you queueing up? Let us know in the comments section, or e-mail editor@electricpig.co.uk
UPDATE: Brentwood has a queue of around 80, we’re hearing London’s Bluewater O2 store has “hundreds” in line, and reports from Apple’s flagship Regent St store are that “thousands” have shown up. How many iAddicts can you count in your line?
UPDATE 2: We hear shoppers in Bluewater are being treated to bacon sandwiches, while Starbucks services Regent St queuers with hot coffee. Any tasty treats being handed out near you?
UPDATE 3: First signs of disappointment as the Apple Store at Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre starts turning away new queuers. If you didn’t pre-order, you might be out of luck.
UPDATE 4: Seems even Britain’s smaller towns are experiencing iPhone 4 mania! Here’s a snap of 150 people queuing in sleepy Bury St Edmonds from reader James Cutler. Thanks James!
