Morning all! We’re about to kick off with even more gadget news to take you through the day, but before we do, tuck into a smorgasbord of everything you missed overnight – it’s all right here waiting for you in your techie breakie.

First off, in Apple news, the Cupertino company set loose its major iPhone update, iOS 4, on unsuspecting iPod touches and iPhone 3G and 3GS models. Multitasking is here at last, so give it and install, tell us what you think of it, and if you’re not sure still, check out how to get the upgrade in our guide. Fancy running it on a brand spanking new iPhone 4 instead? No problem: we’re giving one away for free.

Elsewhere in mobile meanwhile, we geared up to bring you a HTC Wildfire live Q&A today: it goes down at 11am, but beforehand, be sure to get your questions in. We also took a look at the Samsung Wave, and everything it’s capable of with its swish Super AMOLED screen.

Finally, whispers broke out that Nikon is prepping a second projector compact camera. Do we really need one?
