We’ve got a HTC Wildfire in the house, and in a review in the pipeline for you, but if there’s a burning question you have about the company’s new low price Android phone, you’d better grab you diary and save the date, as we’re doing a live Q&A tomorrow!

Just as we’ve done for the iPad, BlackBerry Pearl 3G and Dell Streak, we’ll be running a live question and answer session for a full hour on the HTC Wildfire, kicking off at 11am UK time. If you’ve got any questions you want answered on the lil’ Desire (Is it better than the HTC Hero? What’s the screen like), we’ll be on hand to answer them, and test out anything that’s bugging you about it.

HTC Wildfire unboxed: photos

Needless to say, we’ll be bringing you a full HTC Wildfire review shortly too, but for photos and live updates of our testing, tune in then – and if you’ve got any questions which might need a bit of prep time (Like an app installed) just drop them in the comments here and we’ll prime a response for you.

Check back on the homepage at 11am on Tuesday 22 June for the HTC Wildfire live Q&A.

Hi Ben, very interested in the Wildfire as I run a contract sim and just pick up a new mid-range handset every year or so. I reckon I can live with the QVGA screen because of Android 2.1 OS, robust looking build and the box checking connectivity specs.
However was wondering if you could have a tinker and maybe highlight any known prominant/popular apps that won't appear in the android market because of the screens low resolution.
For example I'm curious if the Amazon MP3 Store app works and if higher end 3D games such as N.O.V.A and Racing Thunder are supported.
    Many Thanks.

Could you possibly show the htc wildfire playing a video as i would like to know how the QVGA lower res screen affects video quality also can it play youtube videos ok?

Also have you had any problems with any slowdowns experienced due to a slower processor?

YouTube vids run fine but the screen isn't spectacular – we'll go into more detail for you tomorow, and try and get you a video demo too. Likewise speed: we are seeing a fair lot of slowdown but then if you plan on pushing it to the max it probably isn't for you anyway.

Thanks for the reply, just a few last questions.

Could you demonstrate how the new polite ringer works please, i hear it goes silent when you turn it over and decreases volume as you move it.

I would also like to know how much the screen resolution affects available apps and general use, how internet browsing is etc.
How easy to use are the touch sensitive buttons on the bottom? Do they get annoying?

Will the live Q and A be recored so I can watch it after if I miss 11am?

Hi Fred. We'll be happy to check out whatever apps you have in mind if you leave a list here. You will indeed be able to watch it back after.
