The Microsoft E3 2010 keynote was packed with gaming goodness, mostly on the action front, with huge existing franchises like Halo, Call of Duty and Gears of War all having their latest installments demoed. But don’t forget about Kinect Sports, one of the first titles to make use of the Microsoft Kinect motion controller. If you’ve missed any of the videos, have no fear – we’ve assembled the highlights here for your easy consumption. Grab a cuppa and feast your eyes on the best of the showcase.
Call of Duty: Black Ops – Lots of testosterone-fuelled action (and an Eminem tune) to get you “pumped” for the followup to Modern Warfare 2.
Metal Gear Solid Rising – Gameplay video showing the way in which Raiden can slice up almost anything – limbs, masonry, vans and fruit – with his sword.
Gears of War 3 – Live in-game action from the Microsoft E3 2010 conference, demonstrating the four-player co-op mode and lots of new moves for Marcus Fenix and co.
Fable 3 – Another installment in the Brit-developed action RPG series, set 50 years after Fable 2 and looking very much like a game in the same vein.
Halo Reach – Our first glimpse of the Halo prequel’s single player campaign, showing off frantic gunplay and hand-to-hand combat.
Kinect Sports – Use Kinect to make your Xbox Avatar compete in track and field events.
