First up, Microsoft’s kicked off the E3 games expo with a bang, outing its Natal motion tech under a new name: Microsoft Kinect. We’ve got all the details known so far on the Xbox 360 peripheral right here, including launch games and the release date. Oh, and speaking of new Xbox gear, we might just be seeing that slimmed down Xbox 360 tonight, if a new advert spotted online is to be believed.

Over on the phone front meanwhile, Nokia served up two new phones today, including the curiously square Symbian messaging phone, the Nokia X5, while on the Android front, we broke the news of the Samsung Galaxy Apollo launching exclusively on Orange, and took a look at how to type at speed on the Samsung Galaxy S using Swype.
