Natal UK preorders kick off at Game on Sunday. The retailer has added a Natal UK preorders countdown clock to its site and it ends this weekend. Curiously, that means it will be taking down names for Natal before Microsoft pulls the covers off the finished product at its Natal E3 event which doesn’t start until early Monday morning UK time. What looked like the Natal production model took to the stage at the D8 conference last week but we’ll see the real thing for sure in the wee hours of Monday morning. Though an Argos Natal registration page went up in April, neither it nor other retailers like HMV and Play are promising Natal UK preorders yet. Game seems to be ahead of the pack.
Microsoft showed off the system’s gender-detection and motion-tracking smarts in a recent Natal video, we’ve seen details of at least one fully-finished Natal game (River Rush) and have pretty strong suspicions that a Sonic Natal title will spin into view during E3.
We don’t know the Natal UK release date yet though a indiscrete Microsoft man in Saudi Arabia and Jonathan Ross, who got an early sneak peek, both claimed it would be sometime in October.
