It’s the start of another long week stocked full of gadget goodness, and while all eyes are on WWDC in San Francisco this evening for what may be the launch of a new iPhone, there’s plenty more to catch up on. See what you missed over the weekend right here in our techie breakie roundup.

First up, all the attention’s focused on Apple. The company’s CEO, Steve Jobs, is expected to launch the leaked iPhone 4.0 at an event in California from 6pm this evening. We’ll be bringing you all the coverage right here, but in the meantime, we checked out five rival smartphones that could worth be waiting for, and asked you whether you think you’ll be buying one in our iPhone poll.

Over on rival smartphone platform Android meanwhile, we took a look at all the tricks that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 can pull off in under a minute, and grabbed a finished Dell Streak for a hands on session – and penciled in a live Q&A about the slate, scheduled for today at 2pm!

Finally, in gaming, Rockstar dated the first free DLC pack for Western extravaganza Red Dead Redemption, while Nintendo dropped the price of the Nintendo DSi as the launch of the 3DS at E3 nears. If home console gaming is more your thing though, we looked at how you can stream all the latest titles to your TV without one, using Q-waves‘ streaming gear. Find out more about Q-waves.
