The iPhone 4.0 launch could see the final outing for John Hodgeman as PC, according to new rumours. Apple has apparently filmed an ad riffing on the iPhone 4.0 leak with Hodgeman playing a barman out to get an Apple employee loaded in the hope of grabbing an iPhone 4.0 prototype…

The iPhone 4.0 launch video was reportedly filmed last week at a bar in Brooklyn which would put an entirely new spin on the Steve Jobs iPhone 4.0 leak retelling when he suggested someone should make a movie about the incident. While Hodgeman apparently stars in the iPhone 4.0 video, Mac (aka Justin Long) is left out of the infinite loop.

The last time a Mac vs PC ad opened up WWDC was back in 2007 when Hodgeman pretended to be Steve Jobs planning to close Apple for good in the face of an onslaught from Windows Vista and the Zune. You can relive that moment in the video above.

Let us know: do you think Apple will make fun of the iPhone 4.0 leak? Could it go even further and give us a Gray Powell cameo?
