It seems Sony Ericsson may be putting the finishing touches on a brand new Android phone – one sporting a big ol’ 5-inch screen and an HTC Shift-style hinged slide-out QWERTY keyboard, no less.
A typically blurry spy shot of the new Sony Ericsson Android phone, or at least a prototype of it, has come into the possession of Engadget. They say the tipster who sent it has a “solid track record”, and that he/she claims the phone is at an early stage in its development: it’s running Android 2.1 rather than 2.2 and low level drivers are being tested.
So don’t expect this rumoured mobile to be out in the very near future, but we’ll be keeping an eye open for more information. We’ll let you know if anything turns up.
