It’s been a busy few hours in gadgetry while you’ve been kicking back in the land of nod. New cameras, 3D TVs, must play sequels: they’re all headed your way, so catch up with what you missed right here, right now in techie breakie.

First up, in home entertainment, we broke the news that Sharp‘s new 3D Quattron TVs would be coming to the UK, with a release date due before the end of the year. On the audio side of things, Sonos outed a new black coated Zoneplayer S5 stereo, if that off white just wasn’t doing it for you and your multi-room music set up.

In handheld gadgetry meanwhile, Samsung outed the NX5, a more affordable bridge camera than the NX10, but stil aimed at luring Micro Four Thirds punters over, and we showed you all the tricks you can pull off on the Android Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 in under a minute.

Microsoft’s been busy meanwhile, first fighting back against Google’s Windows ban at its HQ, then serving up a new look Windows Live Essentials, with smart features including free PC syncing. And speaking of PCs, gaming on the desktop might just be about to get a shot in the arm: Half Life 3 could be on the cards.
