The iPad accessories market is already filling up with a shedload of cool additions for your Apple Tablet. But if you’re feeling totally out of pocket, the best budget iPad accessory could be a pack of Velcro. Click through to check out the multitude of cool uses Californian filmmaker Jesse Rosten put his iPad too with the quick addition of two strips of Velcro and hit the comments with you iPad DIY plans…
In the clip above, Rosten creates an iPad sat-nav with two strips of Velcro attached to his car’s dashboard, an iPad photo frame by fixing it to the wall and an iPad weather station by sticking it to the window and firing up an appropriate app. He really could have just peered through the glass but then where would the iPad come in?
There’s some more daring Velcro and iPad combinations in the video too. As well as hooking his iPad up to the kitchen wall to turn it into a virtual cookbook with the Jamie’s 20 Minute Meals app, he attaches it to the ceiling for some horizontal movie watching and most daringly turns it into an onboard computer for his motorbike. We’d probably advise against the last one.
We found 25m rolls of Velcro on sale online for under £20 so you could easily cover your house in convenient iPad docking spots.
