The Blackberry 9670 isn’t the first Blackberry clamshell we’ve seen. There was the Blackberry Kickstart back in 2008 and the Blackberry Flip last year but this new flip phone seems to be packing the Blackberry 6 OS. Will this get Crackberry fans flipping out or end up folding?

While the new Blackberry Pearl 3G will come packing a standard phone keypad for the UK version but it seems the Blackberry 9670 isn’t following the trend. It’s packing a full QWERTY keyboard, a feature that hasn’t found its way into any previous Blackberry clamshell.
Besides the full finger friendly keyboard, the Blackberry 9670 is rumoured to be rocking both a 480×360 resolution main screen and a smaller LCD on the outside of the phone. There’s also a 5MP camera in the mix.
There’s no news on when or if the Blackberry 9670 will hit the UK but the leaked pictures show it running the forthcoming Blackberry 6 OS which is due in Q3 2010. Do you like the idea of packing a clamshell Blackberry?
