Medal of Honor will hit the UK on 15 October and is up for pre-order now, 25 days ahead of Call of Duty: Black Ops. The new Medal of Honor game will be the first in the series to ditch its World War 2 setting for modern day warfare. Whatever could have inspired that?
While Call of Duty: Black Ops is jumping back to Vietnam, Medal of Honor has taken a leaf out of the Modern Warfare 2 playbook. The game will be set in modern-day Afghanistan and feature a range of soldiers from ordinary infantry to elite Tier One Operators (the bearded guy in the press pic is one of the special ops chaps).
We’re promised a new Medal of Honor trailer later today but we’ve had a good look at what to expect in the Medal of Honor teaser trailer. EA promises both a single player game and a multiplayer campaign which is being put together by DICE, the brains behind Battlefield Bad Company 2.
Will you be signing up for battle with Call of Duty: Black Ops or marching off with Medal of Honor?
